Front windows and windscreen
The front doors in about 1 hour, the windscreen in about an hour too. Film chosen for your specific car.
The right film for the front windows
Glass on its own doesn't let through 100% of the light, and the values differ from car to car. So before fitting, we'll advise you which film suits the front windows of your specific car.
Why at the front too
- Less glare: driving into direct or strong sunlight causes fatigue, eye strain and poorer concentration. The films filter glare and heat while keeping the driver's view clear.
- UV protection for the driver: the skin on your hands and face is exposed to the sun on every trip.
- A cooler cabin: less heat through the front windows means less work for the air conditioning in summer.
- Safety: the adhesive layer holds the glass together if it breaks.
How long it takes
The two front doors take about 1 hour. The windscreen takes about an hour too. If you're doing the whole car (rear, front doors and windscreen), plan for about half a working day.
Important: after fitting, don't lower the front door windows for 3 to 7 days (depending on the season), until the film has fully bonded. See the aftercare tips.
Combine it with the rear
Front window film is often combined with a darker tint on the rear windows, where the law sets no limit with two side mirrors. The car looks finished.
